TRUDEAU TO PROROGUE PARLIAMENT TO AVOID SCRUTINY

Chris Warkentin, Member of Parliament for Grande Prairie – Mackenzie, responded to the
latest attempt by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to escape scrutiny by proroguing Parliament.

“This is outrageous,” Warkentin said. “In the midst of a major health and economic crisis,
Prime Minister Trudeau is ducking accountability for his actions and trying to distract from
three separate investigations into his own unethical behaviour.”

“Canadians have serious questions about the Trudeau WE Scandal and the multiple
investigations of his decision to give away $900 million of taxpayer dollars in sole-source
contract to his friends.”

“Our nation deserves stability and strong leadership. The Prime Minister has only delivered
corruption, chaos, and cover-ups.”

“Hiding from Canadians and Parliament won’t solve the chronic ethical violations that Justin
Trudeau and the Liberals are plagued with.”

“At a time of international economic and health crises, Trudeau is shutting down Parliament
to cover his corrupt behaviour. This is unheard of in a democratic country. As long as Justin
Trudeau is Prime Minister, the corruption will continue.”

“Conservatives will continue to use every means possible to hold Trudeau and his scandal
plagued government to account inside and outside of Parliament.”
